Lurking
Sunday, March 14, 2010
It turns out that I spend quite a bit of time lurking. And I kind of like it.
The only trouble is deciding when to de-cloak and post a comment or add an insightful tidbit to an ongoing conversation. One that might have already been going on for a few hours or a few days. Le sigh.
Is it better to simply be out there in the open all the time or bask in the shade of anonymity?
And yes, I had to look up the spelling for anonymity. ;)
They say old habits are hard to break, but I can't have been lurking for that long... at least I don't think so.

How about you? Are you a lurker or an active participant on loops, blogs and tweets?

I'm pretty sure the lurkers are answering by talking out loud in front of their computers instead of hitting submit.
I go through phases.
Mostly lurk. Especially at places like Smart Bitches or agent/industry blogs.
Different with friends. If I have something useful to contribute, I pipe up (okay... and sometimes just to say hello *grin*)
